AFC trouble

I have tried searching but it didn't turn up anything. I have a AFC and yesterday I went auto Xing. I had to put it in the glove box because it isn't held down to the car. Well anyway, it must have bounced around in there and reset itself. I didn't notice until I was driving home on the freeway. It was set for 6 cl. I tried programing it for 4 cl while driving and when I did the car had no power and the check engine light came on. Well I disconnected the battery last night and this afternoon I connected it and reprogramed the AFC, the check engine light came back on and the car ran like crap. I didn't drive it but it felt like it was running on 3 cl or something. Can anybody tell me what I did? I have all of the settings at 0%. Hot wire set at 01in and 01out. BTW, I have a 97 GT which has the same engine as a 98 RS. Please help!

double check all the wires, maybe some came loose.
