RS-T guys, what do you guys run for a up-pipe, downpipe, and catback? Or turbo-back? Thanks for the info.

custom, custom, custom, custom....
well not really, but that's the realm you get into when doing an RS-T, don't think that any of the WRX components will just bolt right up, they don't Personally, I'm using TWE header to a ludespeed up-pipe, ludespeed downpipe, to a 3" borla hush system exhaust. WRX components will not just bolt up to the SOHC engine, I believe you can put a spacer on the up-pipe and make it work..... check the sticky thread at the top of this forum for more information. |

You can use the WRX components, but you'll need a WRX crossmemeber, Water pump, and a 20MM spacer on the uppipe to header connection. After that the turbo back will fit with minor modification of a hanger. The downpipe hanger may need to be moved or create to bolt to the trans to keep vibration down as well. The downside is that the position of the turbo isn;t ideal for the turbo inlet and FPR. You can swap the fuels rails and make a custom inlet for the turbo. Overall I would just go custom from the begining. It's less headaches and looks better.

Well as for the Up-pipe and Down pipe.. the are custom.. I have apexi n-1 Cat back, that was 2 1/2 inch, but I have 3" pipe from the downpipe back now with no CATS.. It is loud.. but the good loud.. the sbuy good loud.. Not like that slappy Honda crapp. I know I used to have an acura integra that I thought sounded aweseom til a guy w/ a WRX blew my doors off, and while I was looking at the back of his car the entire time ( he had apexi N-1) I thought that it sounded awesome.. anyway sorry about the run on!!

I plan on WRX headers, up and down pipe. Either Vishnu or perrin up, and a helix down pipe. i also plan on using the new Greddy sp 2. i guess some modification's will need to be made, but that will happen. and i will need a WRX or old Turbo legacy crossmember. but once again, if i have to move a flange or something like on the exhaust, it will have to happen i guess. but i will be selling some of the stock shtuff i have like borla headers and Stromung exhaust. good luck to yeah.

Sweet, thanks guys. So most of you guys use mostly custom or well known exhaust parts between 2.5 - 3 inches. thanks for the info.
