Question Proportioning valve - lever or knob?

I'm hesitating between the two Wilwood valves.

Things I'm not sure about are range of adjustment and ease of use. With the lever there are a set number of preset adjustments (6) which makes it quick to use and easy to know at what setting you are.

With the knob you get precise pressure adjustments which might be ideal but it is difficult to tell what setting you are using.

So, would the lever valve provide precise enough adjustments or do you end up needing the pressure adjusment in between two of the preset settings?

Someone with experience with either of them?

I have a tilton lever style.

1) All proportioning valves are at best useless, at worst dangerous, unless you remove the stock proportioning valve first. There should be only one proportioning valve in the system. (for this type of application)

2) I wouldn't want the fine control of a knob. I like that I can change the setting one click, and just barely tell the difference in handling. If I could change it so little that I *couldn't* tell the difference, what would the point be? I'm think the knob would work better for road racers with corner scales and brake bias instrumentation.

Great, that's exactly the kind of feed back I'm looking for. Lever does sound like the most attractive option.

Valve will get installed at Lachute Performance so I have no worries about it being done right. Just the type I was wondering about.

Thanks.
