At the Track BLITZ FM Intercooler

Does the BLITZ FMIC require any cutting of the front bumper(or anywhere else) to install on my 02 WRX? Thanks guys..

yes you do need to cut alot of the bumper. I just put the blitz fmic on my car and in order for it to fit properly you need to cut alot. Also you need to remove your splash guard and cut some of the fender to get the piping through.

I believe most all FMIC's require you to cut the bumper beem hence why some people buy the JDM beem to install instead.

APS DR/500 or 650 COMES with a NEW bumper Beam. See Kingpin, $1395 shipped to your door

Every FMIC will require you to cut the bumper. The bumper beam is a different story. I highly recommend the APS DR500. I just installed it last weekend and am very happy with it.

I have the Blitz FMIC and it works nicely. If you don't want to cut anything yourself, don't get this kit. I would say about 75% of my bumper beem was cut away.
