Default SearchBar (get the F of my computer)

How do I get this SearchBar crap of my computer? I think it came from that seal barking girl video.

Adaware - easy to use - may not remove everythign
Bazooka Spy Remover - all manual, but tells you how to get rid of EVERYthing.

Google both and find them

IE:
Tools --> Internet Options --> Settings --> View Objects
Remove everything but Flash, Java, what ever else you know and use.

Next time use mozilla.

Theres nothing wrong with IE if you have the security settings right and have a pop up blocker. I've never had any problems.

To get rid of SearchBar, you're going to have to go to regedit, and delete every instance of searchbar you find (should be about 18). Good luck.

I did that. Spybot says it can't remove all unless I start up again. I do and it comes back.

Adaware comes out clean then it reinstalles itself.

It's not that IE can't be made secure, it's that there is very basic stuff that it just can't (MS won't let it) do.

For instance, which security setting do I tweak to prevent flash animations from downloading/playing by default in IE, while still retaining the ability to see Strongbad? To block google text ad frames? To block banners? To block any image or iframe I don't particularly care to ever see again - this one is a biggie for some message boards that allow sig pictures. To prevent address-bar URL spoofing? (Has MS patched that one yet?)

Mozilla/Firefox + adblock + flash-click-to-run pwns.

I think the searchbar is a program. Go to your install/uninstaller, in the control panel, and uninstall it.

I had something awhile back called Hot Bar, kinda sounds like the same thing. I found this little program that removed it, so maybe it'll work for you, worth a shot:
