Default FREE!: 5mt + 4.11 gearset

Hey guys, I've finally got all my ducks in a row and should have a shiny new 6mt showing up on my doorstep in 2-3 weeks. Now I have the problem of getting rid of my 5mt. I've been putting 22lbs of boost through the poor thing. It works... sort of, making very scary noises in all gears (3'rd is the worst), so don't plan on actually driving a car with the thing in it. However it is PERFECT for anyone looking to drop a high strength gearset into theirs, but doesn't want anything more than a few hours of downtime with their car. I'll ship it anywhere in the world if you pay for shipping, if you can come to Laramie and pick the thing up it's yours for the taking.

P.S. I live in Denver....I'll come get it. I need a spare case for my RA or Kazz gearset (still undecided).

Ham, it's yours once the 6 speed is in (should be 2-3 weeks hopefully).

Cool. I'm going on vacation to Reno this week. Wish I could pick it up on the way back. Possible to do it by Thu/Fri? I'll check back here at my cousins place in a few days. Later.

Wow... I really didn't realize there was a demand for this glorified paperweight... I'm sorry to say it HamFist, but it looks like bidding has just gone up to one custom fiberglass sub box.

So is the rear diff up for grabs too? If so I'll be glad to take it off your hands.

HamFist, it looks like the offer for the fiberglass box is no good. The guy who was going to make the box can't use the case anymore. Looks like it is yours again.

I'm back from reno now. Good lord, I don't feel like driving this weekend. Enough already . I figured 20-50 bucks to ship it to denver, if it's even that, is plenty worth it. I'd spend just that much on gas anyway. Is it convenient for you?

The supercharger system is almost done . I don't expect the stock tranny to last very long. It's either the 5spd case with new gears and diffs, or a modded automatic. That'll go in along with the new supension, brakes, and STI 2.5 block. Plans are for 12's or slightly better. Power wise, it won't take terribly much in a significantly lighter car .

I won't have the tranny out of the car for anothe 3 weeks or so when my 6 speed shows up. Sound like you are kinda eager for this though, unfortunately I still need the thing to get me to school, even if it is failing.

It's all good, just let me know. I didn't know if a shorter timetable was possible. Vacation and having driven through the area was my only impetus for asking for it sooner. Cheers .
