A New York Winter and 5,000 miles on a non-ss dual tip Stromung shows.
It will soon come off the car for a light sanding and high temperature flat black coating. Adam MY97OBSS |

I have the Flat Black dual tip. I want the car to be as low key as possible.
I was running a Naxos DTM Stainless which screamed louder than my CBR900RR. And you would go blind running behind my car. The Stromung is only coming off for a refinishing, back to flat black. For my 2.2, with a mild intake, I lost very little low end and can still top the car out quickly 110+. Has anyone painted the non stainless steel stromung? Not black, like white or yellow or something? I just ordered one and wanted to coat it b4 I put it on, but was thinking if it was such a good deal or not. not to be ricey, well, maybe a little bit, but more to protect it
thanks jeff |
