Talking Cone filter + RS hood = Mo powa!!!

Ok, thats wierd... I just picked up an RS hood, and the first thing I noticed on the way home with my ghetto maf adapted cone filter on the stock intake tubing on my EJ18 is that I had more power! Ya, seriously, that hood vent right there by where the filter is really helped I guess. I actually got a really nice launch off of a stoplight ON ACCIDENT

Oh, btw, call me r1ceb0y now

Now it's time to put it on the dyno to see just how much power you got. That hood vent does help. I remember it got me down from 13.9 to 13.85. Yeah, that's not much at all but my car (auto) was VERY consistent. I did a LOT of bracket racing and it didn't get to 13.85 until I added a WRX bonnet hood scoop. Is this the type of scoop you are talking about? On the passenger side hood vent is where I have mine installed.

Kudos to the 1.8!

I dont know if the scoop helps much, since the cone filter is by the passanger side vent, which is what I think the air is coming from. But eh, ya, seems to work whatever is doing it

I need to take a picture of what I'm talking about but the WRX bonnet hood scoop on my OBS replaces the passenger side vent. It turns the vent to a scoop. Even in vent form, the cooler air helps but making it a scoop helps just a tad more. Just sayin', I think I can relate to what you are talking about.

Kosta- hey, where did you get your clear bumper lights??? I used to have a pair on my last Impreza L, but I've bought a new one, and can't find them anywhere... Heh, I also used to have the RS hood and a cone intake, but I never really noticed a difference... You should get the RS headlights and grill too, damn they look good! Thanks playa-

Check out Allsubaru.com for the headlights. Jamie has them for around 115 apiece...I think.

For the bumper lights, check out Ebay...seriously. Just type in Subaru in the search engine and I guarantee that someone will be selling those lights cheap. That's where I got mine...when I had my L anyway.

115 for two or each? Each is insane. Im going to try local shops/yards for some. (Namley Barsottis and the Subaru Recycler)
