I could lose a few, but I don't need a 'one size fits all' chart telling me I need to lose 50. I'd look like a cancer patient if I did.

Yeah, that chart seems to be a little skewed, so you bigger one's shouldn't feel so bad. I'm a 25 on there and have 8% body fat. So something seems a little off.

over the last 2 years i've gone from a BMI of 23 to a current BMI of 28.

I hate getting older. It's all downhill after 25 folks.
