PWN3D STI Style CF Wing install help ASAP

I have a 2004 WRX and the holes do not line up with the wing that I bought from gruppe-s. The wing risers are straight, while the stock holes on the trunk are v shaped. Does anyone have pics of how they did it? Need help, ASAP.

Could it be that the holes on the 2004 trunk, differ on the 2002-03 models?

HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

for each riser, one bracket goes on each side of it. IIRC the forward one is on the outside of the risers, and the rear ones are inside of the risers. So the holes line up in a 'V', but the risers are straight.

2002 WRX here, and when I was installing I noticed if I installed the risers to the wing first, then to the car they wouldn't quite line up. Installing the brackets to the car first (wing last) it worked.

Thanks slide, I'll try again tomorrow. can anyone else help? My car is sitting outside with masking tape over the holes, does anyone have pics?

But this may not answer my question, because if the stands do connect at a V shape, they will not connect to the wing because the wing brackets are straight.

I can't help with the wing problem, but why don't you give them a call - Phone (M-F 10-6 PST): (510) 498-8400

They are great guys and I'm sure would be happy to help.
