Default first track event... what to get for harnesses?

I did a search and didn't come up with anything really helpful. Any suggestions on a good harness to keep me safe and my a$$ planted in my seat?
I will probably only do this one event (maybe one more) so I am not looking for a crazy set up. Something that is a reasonable price but will still be functional.

Thanks in advance

Jason

I have the same concern. I am doing my first track day on May 21 @ Summit Point. I have a 3 point Sparco Harness that I put in for autocrossing, but I have a feeling that it won't be allowed on track w/o a full roll cage.

Procedure to lock your seatbelt. Note that this is applied mainly in autocross since there is not much of a risk of going off track and rolling over.

USE AT YOUR OWN RISK!!!

1) Push the seat all the way back (this depends on how tall you are)
2) Tighten the belts
3) Tug the shouldbelt to lock it
4) Pull the seat back to desired position
5) You may raise your seat to tighten it more

Good luck!

in the case of a flip, do you really want a harness to keep you up right without a roll cage?

unless you have a rollbar or rollcage. Do NOT use harnesses.
