Post Can our Subies do this overseas too?

Go to the last movie on the left. Its an EVO killing a MKIV supra. Our WRX counter parts are just as fast I'm assuming?

Most of the Imprezas are not as fast but are considered the more well rounded car by most and much more forgiving to the driver a much easier car to drive. So I've heard wish I knew from experience though.

scuse me??

(ohhh here she goes again)

i have seen - with my own 2 eyes... a Subie pushin an Evo to the limit... and the Evo could not, was not, able to catch and pass that Subie...

where did she see this?? you may ask??

Knockhill racetrack, Scotland, UK!!!

when??

that guy could not will his Evo to go any faster!! he was pissed!!! and the subie???
well... ok.. it was a 22B but... what can i say???

really tho.. the UK spec Impreza turbo, the WRX, the P1, the RB5 AND the 22B are incredibly quick cars!! Not to say they would ALWAYS toast an Evo... but they are a lot quicker than ANY Subie I've driven here... turbo or not.

ok... i'm done now...you may resume your discussions....

Yea, I've been following the turbo posts and I don't want a bunch of piggyback compters in my car. I want a nice clean near stock setup. Actually I don't have enough money right now anyways. So of course I HAVE to make up some excuse for not wanting a turbo right now.

well, that EVO was fast indeed but the Supra mus have benn stock or not too moded 'cuz it's easy to bring an MKIV up to 800bhp but not an EVO.

The REALLY funny thing about the vid was hearing the guy in the background losing his frickin' mind seeing the evo SPANK the supra like a red headed stepchild! I guess he didn't expect it I even didn't expect THAT much of a lopsided race.

Cool

ya, that was amusing hearing that guy flip his lid. Hey, is it just me, or did I hear one of the cars bouncing off the rev-limiter a little too much?

There actually is a cool vid on www.superhonda.com of a WRX at the drag strip. Go to the video section, then down towards the bottom there's a section "Drag Strip" and the last video is a WRX vs.
an MR2GT. The best part is the expression
of the WRX driver as he wastes the Toyota.

Ok, so I'm guilty of continuing a forum-inappropriate thread. So sue me.

What I want to know is, What's the deal with these Japanese test drivers? In every video I've seen they're laughing and screaming at each other. I downloaded the set of Tsukuba Challenge videos, and those guys are all just laughing and having a great time. Maybe a real WRX is just that much fun to drive?
