Does that suction cup mount rotate enough so that it could clamp onto something like a rear window, and still get an angle looking forward?

I tried to use it on the rear window once but couldn't get it work without the camcorder hitting the window. Upside down it worked fine though. It really depends on the height of the camcorder. I mainly used it on exterior spots (hood and door).

All 3 of the swivels actually spin around 360 degrees.

Right now everything is pending sale, I get the defiant answer on Monday. I'll keep everyone informed.

Thanks,
Buster

As for the suction cup mount, I have been able to get mine to work on the rear window, with the camera facing front. I'm using a Sony TRV-25 with the same mount that Buster has.

It's a tight squeeze, but I'm able to get it to work decently.

You don't know about it..

You could probably attach the mount to the sunroof, hanging the camera upside down. That could work...

I wish I had the money, I am in desperate need of a MiniDV camera
