Is the STI wheel any smaller than the MOMO WRX wheel?

Was it worth the trouble?

It may be slightly smaller but i changed it because of the look and the feel of the 3 spoke design compared to the 4 spoke on the stock wrx, the old ones at least

Anyone know where one can get the USDM 2004 steering wheel assembly?

All I found was the JDM sold on the web, there is no cruise control set up on that one and I'd like to retain that.

I finally got the pictures rehosted. It is giving me fits with uploading the remaining ones that are missing, but I will get them uploaded ASAP.

ok so, how do you hook up the cruise, do you also have to switch the connector or does the WRX cruise plug right into the STI clock spring.

please DO NOT use crimps on the airbag wires. They are UNSAFE. USE SOLDER and HEATSHRINK.

Great info.

The "silver" STI wheel is VERY minimally smaller than the 02 WRX wheel. I measured both and the difference was definitely not something you would go through this hell for.

The one shown above (comes in 05+) is noticeably smaller than the 02 WRX wheel.
