STi Wheel Question

My brother and I got into a discussion about the 05 STi wheels and the 04 STi wheels. I told him that the 05 wheels ARE NOT the same wheel as the 04, because of a different width and bolt pattern. He argued that because they look the same they are the same. The 04 and 05 are not interchangable, correct. I just need him to see that wheels ARE different though they look the same.

'04 STi = 5x100
'05 STi = 5x114.3

Can NOT mix and match the two.

Hmmm because they look the same they are the same...

1. find an '05 STi.

2. take the wheels off.

3. switch wheels from an '04.

4. tell him to put them back on.

5. wait for him to say, " I can't put these on, they are different

?"

6. ???

7. Profit.
