Default Question for guys with leather

I am considering getting leather seats for my 03 WRX.

Does anyone have a problem with it being too slippery when driving?

I would think the seats have enough support to hold you in place.

Some feedback would be appreciated thanks!

I have had no slipping problems and very much enjoy the leather. I highly recommend it.

I want it so bad... gotta save a few weeks.

Does it make the seat more comfy? (some added padding maybe)?

The leather was really nice while I had it. I only traded for Sparco's seats or I would still have them. They were not slippery at all. Well maybe my g/f side

I like my leather. I get some sliding around, but my seats aren't as well bolstered as the WRX ones.

i din't have much slipping either. i went thru my brother in law for my seat they are not from leatherseats.com(katzkin) the seats i have are from northwest auto leather the jave about a 1/4 to 1/2 inch more backing than stock and make the old seats feel awesome. there also one of the only companies out there that have copyright off scooby to use factory wrx logo.

sorry for the long wiat on the reply. I got the interior done at my brother-in-laws shop in pennsylvania. the company is northwest auto leather. it was 1100 buck not a bad price considering if you were going to go to the dealer you would pay 2g for it. you might check at you local upholstery shop or give North west a call.

I have the Katzkins kit in my 04. I haven't had any trouble with slipping. The leather looks great and cleans up nice. I would recommend it in a heartbeat.

I've had the Katzkin leather kit installed in my '02 wrx for more than a year now and I love them. I've had absolutely no problem with sliding in the seats. You won't regret getting them.

'twas the subwoofer under the seat, wasn't it

She didn't really like your driving when you were going fast and she was screaming "yes YES, OH GOD YES!"

OK I'll stop now.

I have a bit of a rare WRX which has the version 3 seats in it but in leather. (It's a GC8 limited edition) These seats aren't quite as "wrap around" as the normal WRX seats but I don't have any slippage what so ever. Admittedly it has suede inserts which would help, but after sitting in leather, I would never go back to fabric.
