Question 1998 Legacy 2.5gt wagon exhaust?

Hey guys,

Just picked up a 1998 Legacy 2.5gt wagon. The exhaust is going, so i thought i'd just get a nice aftermarket catback. Anybody have any suggestions on any company's that make one that would fit the wagon? Appreciate the help! Thanks

the Borla one is real nice...a bit on the loud side though and a bit pricey... about $4** now

Thanks! Anyone have any experience with the Stromung exhuast on a wagon? How load is it in comparison to say a Cobb exhaust?

I second COBB's catback.

Actually, go for the header and back. Not the cheapest but it is real nice.

Make sure you tell them you have a wagon as the tip is a bit longer than a sedan.

I have one of the first COBB catbacks and I had a short tip. They revised the tip for wagons after I called them.

Oh, I also have the header and high flow cat.
Hopefully I can get time to do before/after DynoRad runs on my car to show relative power gains.

Someone told me the COBB catback was the same as the Stromung one? Any truth to that?

COBB "may" have Stromung make them, but they are a bit different.

Very nice SS system though. You really need to get the heavy duty hangers though. The new system is heavier and takes up some of the free space under the car so it may hit things when using old tired stock mounts.

I have a SPT Exhaust. They are banging them out cheap right now. $266 at the dealership. Its OK, not very loud at all, but I can tell the performance increase. Its got better low end right a way. They are made by BroSpeed.
