Talking DOH!!! CEL, Finally!

Go figure,
Go on a vacation and the cel decides to come on 150 miles into it

Now its time to figure out whether its my uppipe, Downpipe, Intake, or upped boost that is causing the problem.

What the hell did I break this time?

You gentlemen may start your betting pool. I'll post results tommorow.

i would have to say the uppipe if you dont have the resistor mod done or the wrong resistor.intake wont do it,the bosal still keeps the 3rd cat right, maybe an overboost cel.

Did the mechanical fix. Won't know its effectiveness until I head to Chicago in a few weeks ( only trips on freeway) should be fine though.

I used the 10ohm resister on mine and it works perfect. The only time my cel comes on is when I start to boost to much with the VF39 and I hit fuel cut.

There seems to be a couple of fixes, but I went through this myself after the up/downpipe install. The Pony Express cel eliminator, think there is a perrin fix also, and that (10 ohm resistor), but that did not work for me either. Luckily the reflash got rid of it all together.

im pretty sure the 10k ohm fix is for the uppipe, unplug the egt harness clips, cut the 10k ohm resistor and bend the ends so that they go into the egt harness the female side and tape it up.i have had it like this for atleast 3,000 miles no cel.

That's what I was thinking. I used that fix for my uppipe, but I was hoping that there was an easy fix like that for the rear o2 sensor.
