Post turbo ?'s, oil ?'s, trans. ?'s, etc...

to start off im looking forward in running a turbo as soon as i can find a all in one kit for a cheap price....

to start off if i run a turbo, do i have to run the intake and/or exhaust that comes with the kit?...or can i run my own setup?

What kits are available and what do they comes with them? which is the best for the money?

next, i heard that you shouldnt change the oil in your transmission so soon.....is this true? and if not when should i change it? what kind of oil should i run?

thanks,
ThE sPaCeCoWbOy

with the turbo intake/exhaust, im thinking that you need to run the intake that comes with the kit, or modify another intake to work with the kit. you can run any exhuast you want, but make sure its sized properly. why would you want to run a different intake?

what turbo kits are available? try a search for that one. minnam, jc sports... and rallispec and someone else is coming out with one.

check your manual or the SOA homepage for the recommended maint schedule for when you should change your tranny oil.

dunno if i helped much

i wanted to try running a round k&n filter
(the kind that has the chorme top and is about 8inches in diameter) rather than the intake tubes with the k&n cone filter on the end.....

anybody knows if this would work?

Hi there,
I am running a K&N round filter that came with a turn 3 cold air intake system on my Minnam Stage II kit. The only Down side to doing this, is the car now sounds like a wheezer for air at idle, but performs much better at higher RPM (acording to butt Dyno). Anything is possible..... It's just in how inventive and artistic YOU are, in making the brackets and adaptors...
