People who have RS-T's with STi blocks what psi are you running, and what kind of 1/4 times are you seeing?

Reason i ask is because my roommate is being a dick about what i'm going to spend to beat an eclipse that only has about $1000 into it. i don't think it's a fair comparison to count price vs time. Let me know.

1K + for an already turbo'd car form the factory. Ask him how much it would cost to take a Eclipse GS and beat a GSX. Anyhoo, I'll give some times on the Hybrid with the VF22 when I get it back form the shop.

A RS/T (keeping the RS trans) with a stock USDM swap, nothing more than a MBC, uppipe, and downpipe (stock WRX muffler) will DESTROY an eclipse.

Nice, is that eclipse even going? or did he give up at the start? Still does any one have some time slips too? that would be awesome. thanks.

I have an EJ257 (USDM STi) block in my car. No numbers, as we we're rained out at the track two weeks ago. I am currently running ~14 psi, zero problems. Turbo is a large Precision SC34 (550 BHP).

I'll know more soon. But, for now, the car is lightning quick. From the little info I know about 1/4 racing, it would be somewhere in the neighborhood of mid/high 12's without much of a launch.

I have raced my brothers 1993 FD RX-7. He dyno'd at 330 WHP, 11.9 1/4 mile roughly. I was 1 car behind him from a 2nd gear role (25 MPH) all the way up to 100 MPH.

I think SHE may have bogged it at the start, but it was still a rather slow GST... I own3d several runs in a row. Best time that day (with a 15-30 MPH gusting headwind) was a 13.7x. Like I said, it was a nearly stock swap then, running 15.5-16 psi.

Graham if you kept up @ about 1 car length all the way to 100, from a ROLE...you GOTA be as fast, or faster than that thing from a dead stop. We make up alot of time with those launches!

take for instance the camaro SS vs STI. Those friggin Camaros put down 300 @ the wheels. and the STI can take it!

I know the car is not slow, but it has the potential for more with the current boost level I am running. I'll turn it here soon enough.
