I don't know if their alignment is for life, but Auto Innovations does a 4 wheel alignment for around $60. Best price and service I was able to find, plus they work regularly on modified Subarus.

Firestone has a lifetime alignment. I bought mine when I got my Rex so it has been a while, but I believe it was only $150. A screaming deal since it's basically the price of 2 alignments. They even set it to the specifications that I request, which are nowhere near stock. I've had a lifetime alignment with Firestone on all of my cars.

But do those big chain stores know how to take care of our WRX? I know these guys at Auto Innovations know for sure.

Well my WRX wasn't made by ferarri. For someting as simple as alignment, any shop should be fine. That is considering they know how to dial in a setting, but just ask for a readout from the machine before you pay. Those machines don't lie.

I don;t doubt auto innovations or any enthusiast shop has better customer service, and has smarter than your average tech's...its just a trek to milpitas for me, so sometimes the logistics dont make sense.

The point is not about they are smarter than a big chain. The point is that they have been dealing with Subarus and other perfomance cars for years. One of the owners owns a Subaru. Plus they are willing to talk to you and explain/advice what would happen if they did that and what not. Believe me there is more to a Hunter alligninng machine than the screen is green for all 4 corners(within specs). So ofcourse you can go where you want but I have done it and I had to allign the car again (and this time I went to these guys). I believe in word of mouth and these guys get thumps up every time. By the way it is a trek for me as well.

Good luck

Nick
