Pulleys- the straight dope?
Howdy all...
I'm a '99 OB owner from the Subaru Crew (Edmunds) and have ben lurking for a while. I have attended one Highway Safety Course in the car and will attend a Performance Driving Course in it this fall. As musch as I want to get into mods like a plus one rolling stock upgrade, intake mods, etc., I can't really spend the money. Cosmetic mods are, to me, kinda lame unless you've got something to back it up, right? NE Ways, the Unorthodox conflagration got me wondering....how effective are these things? The Teague's site posts a big gain in thier Legacy. How badly will my HVAC/Lights be compromised? Anything major will annoy my better half. Will it void my warranty? Sorry for all the queries, I am pretty much a newby at the tech stuff. p.s. MD PA VA DC folks we are planning a meet June 11, Rocks State Park, would love to see some of your cars there. See Edmunds Subaru Events Forum or email me for details.

the unorthodox pulleys will be my next mod... i have only heard good things about them. i have heard of dimming of head lights when idling at a stop, but as soon as your revs are higher you are fine. it should not effect your warranty. the only way it would is if something failed due to the pulley. and like gambit said, try a search there should be much more info.
