Default Can anybody please help me? ? ?

I need a new gear set. Everywhere i look i get different numbers on the sti gearsets. I will putting down 300-350 to the wheels. I know that there is a big difference but im at 300 now and my goal is to hit 350. Will the STI RA gearsets be ok? ? ?Or will i need something stronger? I would like to run Exedy Clutch and Flywheel...Any suggestions there for my setup? Which one to get? Please help me. I need my car back. Its been two weeks now.

See this link and click on STi RA Gearset:

http://www.gruppe-s.com/Subaru/subtrn.htm

It says up to 350whp. Maybe a bit of a stretch but a much more cost-effective solution than some other aftermarket gear sets. Sti RA gears are the way I'm going.

Are you going to be going to the track and dragging it? I would go with KAAZ just to be safe.. more expensive at first, but maybe not as expensive in the end if the RA gears gave in.

Tranny/gearset is all depends on driving habit and luck. Frank from Autospeedperformance broke his Kaaz gear with only less than 300whp!

From what I know from talking to frank it wasn't a drive gear and will be fixed for like under 300 bucks

It seems like gearsets come in either helical or straight cut, helical being quieter while straight is stronger (is that basically correct?). I was just wondering why there does not seem to be at set with, say, a straight cut first gear and all others helical.
