I've been getting into biking lately and now I'd like to be able to transport my bike and any of my friends' that are biking with me.
Does anyone have information regarding what bike rack I can get to hook up to my RS? Price range? Anyone have a used one for sale? Thanks in advance

what kind are you looking for? One that mounts on the roof or on that mounts on the trunk?
Trunk ones are cheaper (i think), but they can end up damaging your car. Roof mounts can go from around $200. Good thing about those is that you can use it in the wintertime as well for skies/snowboards. |

If you can live with a hitch on your car, hitch mounted ones will have zero contact with your car's paint.
I've had some rather expensive roof and trunk racks and they always left marks. Roof racks are definately better than the trunk mounted ones though. What kind of biking you into? |

right now i'm into just some medium distance stuff. I'm now trying to decide whether to go longer distance (and get a new road bike) or go mountain (and get a mountain bike).
i dunno if i can afford one of those roof ones, but mabbe a trunk rack since i can just uninstall it and reinstall it pretty easily? but will it fit over the gc8 coupe wings?? |

If you get a roof rack, you may have to get the rack extensions since you've got a coupe.
I've got a Subaru rack and the bike attachments, but I haven't used it just yet. I'll letcha know if it doesn't work without the extensions. LaterZ! Darren!! |

I used to use a Yakima rack on my '00 RS without a stretch kit. Carried both bikes and snowboards no problem.
