Default Toyo T1-S pressure recommendations?

What pressures are people running in T1-S for street and auto-x?

I'm running 224/45 17 on a WRX sedan, currently set at 36 F/34 R.

I'm looking for a good starting point for even wear. I'm not running any outrageous camber and 0 toe all around.

Thanks

I just recently retired a set of 215/45-17s that I was running on my Legacy. I generally ran them around 40psi front and rear on the street, and got good even wear. Like you, I have "normal" camber (-1.0 or 1.2, sumthin' around there) and 0 toe all around.

I did run them on the track a couple times, one weekend on my sister's all stock WRX wagon, and a couple sessions at two different tracks during the 2002 OTC. I think on track I only bumped up the fronts a little bit, maybe 42 or 44psi cold (can't really remember). I think I left the rears where they were. They did quite well on track, tire wear was very good, and at Buttonwillow I was only about 1sec per lap slower than I had been on Yoko A032Rs earlier in the day.

Agreed. The Toyo's have a relatively soft sidewall and need higher pressures than a lot of tires to feel sharp and show their true potential.

I ran on some 215/45-17 T1-S in a STX class 2.5RS for autocross. We ran on both asphalt (local events) and fairly grippy concrete (California Speedway and Atwater ProSolos) and settled on 46psi front and 40-42 rear.

We were at -3.2 camber in the front, zero front toe, 1/8th rear toe-out, Tein HA with 400#F/360#R, 19mm front bar, 22mm rear bar, 17x7.5 rims.

Huge difference with how the tires felt at 46 in front compared to 40.

I'm assuming you're quoting hot tempratures. Correct?
