Post Thoughts on Gtech Pro

there was a posting on this along with some links in the classifieds a little while ago. i ordered mine from http://www.phronline.com for $125 a couple weeks back. they still might be doing that deal. i think that the general concensus is that there are a lot of variables that come into play when comparing runs, but its good to get some rough numbers. im happy with mine. hope this helps

Unless you live by UPRD in California, I say get it. It is better than nothing and certainly better than the butt dyno. It might not give you accurate #'s but you should really be gauging the difference in the modification and not the actual hard #'s itself. And if you've ever been to a 2wd dyno, you'll know that dyno time can be as much as $75/hr. If you're going to be doing a lot of mods, this would be a good piece to have.

Do what I did and split the cost between friends.

gtech is actually pretty accurate if done correctly.. Meaning controlled conditions for @ least 5 runs and take the average of those scores. If they weren't semi accurate they wouldn't have sold so many not just to subes, but just about every other moded car out there.
