Default Where to go for custom valved Tein RA's?

My buddy is looking to go with some stiffer than normal Teins...
So what vendor is most knowledgeable and capable of getting the spring rates and correct valving. Price and delivery being a consideration. Thanks

Kevin

You would have to go with Tein directly.

Also consider the JIC's... they specifically advertise the ability to customize your rates with the FLT-A2 RS. Not that I don't like my RA's

Thanks guys, I didnt think that Tein would directly deal with customers. I guess that means that he will have to pay list price for them if he goes right to Tein.

KC,

Any other critical information someone would need to put these on 02 wagon? He has rota SDR w/ 225 Azenis and plans on rolling the fenders.

Doesn't even need to roll the fenders. It just bolts right up.

Really? I thought I read that was needed on here. He will like that news, do you run a lot of rear camber though? Thanks.

You may want to talk to Chris Shenefield at Redshift Motorsports (http://www.redshiftmotorsports.com/). He's a Tein dealer, and knows a thing or two about shock valving and car setup...

Do the Tein RAs have independent spring preload and height adjustment like the JICs?

If independant spring preload means a tender spring, yes. It also does have height adjustment, but not like the JICs... just a standard coilover threaded collar.

Nope, not much rear camber. The RA's come with a non-adjustable pillowball and bamber in the rear is not adjustable using the stock camberbolts. So.. what you get, you get. (But this year you can do much more camberwise if you wanted to.)
