Default L drum to disc swap check list??

I have a set of rotors, calipers, and mics brackets from a MY02. I know I will need the H-brake cable and I think the rear knuckles, I plan to upgrade the lines and pads. Question what else do I need? Also anyone know the going price for a rear knuckle?

Thanks

Merasian auto wreckers in Zeeland can hook you up with some Legacy knuckles for about $45. Unknown condition or mileage.

The ebrake cable should come from an impreza for better fit. You also need the ebrake assembly which is very expensive for new parts. Otherwise you have the complete list except for the tools necessary to get the old knuckle off. It can be a challenge.

If your L is an ABS car, make sure the knuckles you get are for ABS (check for the hole for the sensor and the tone wheel on the hub).
If the knuckles have been sitting outside for a while, the bearings will probably be shot. Check carefully and replace as necessary. Much easier to do this before install. Ditto on the warning about e-brake parts. Make sure to get knuckles with a full e-brake setup, shoes, springs, clips, adjusters etc etc.

Have fun

No ABS on a 2000L, but something to be carefull about for those who do.
