Yeah, that's about right.

I'm betting (knock on wood) it can't go any farther up -- gas stations don't have a place to put a "1". If that's correct, it makes it easy to identify the ups and downs. If it's 98 or 99 cents, you can pretty much be sure it won't go up so you're safe waiting.

It's a theory at least. I filled up at 88.9 in Mission yesterday. Now I have a rental Ford Explorer to fill up and return tomorrow morning at 9! Crap!

Well in the mean while the bus may be the best solution. Time to put my U-Pass to good use. However, there may be some tax relief which could drop the gas prices a bit.

I sure hope that gas prices don't go beyond 99.9 cents if it does then we are screwed! And its time to look for a TDI or a hybrid :P

I register for summer courses so I get a U-Pass. Also, June sweet crude is already at $41.17 a barrle so it will go pass the $1 / L next month most likely.

But, in BC we produce our own gas, so it shouldn't be as high as other places that IMPORT.

I think it can go up to "1". Since gas stations uses 3 significant digits. so if it goes up to "1", it'll still have 3 sig figs.

I'll start bitching when it hit's $2.00 a litre.

That's how much I paid in the UK where it's over 60% TAX on petrol....

......and I was driving a 320Hp imported WRX which was a fire breathing gas guzzler

Don't laugh 4wheel...I got a 4.4 V8 and I'm driving as nice as possible. As for the gas, we don't make them here but we refine them. Chevron still have to buy the crude from Mid-East, Alberta, and Alaska (I asked them before for a school paper). Therefore you can't escape the flux in world prices.
