Talking Painted my grille, Lamin-X'ed my fogs

I painted the inside piece of my grille with some Krylon Fusion gloss black. 3 Coats did the trick. The outter Chrome edging is now color matched by using some aluminum "Plasti-cote" with 3 coats and 2 coats of clear coat.

Then Applied my .17mm Lamin-X yellow film to help in bad weather.

How well does the Fusion adhere to the grille plastic? Have you had any problems with chipping yet?

I've been using Fusion to recondition some children's outdoor toys and furniture and I've found that, while it adheres well, it chips easily when subjected to daily play. Tough customers, those toddlers.

Let us know how it holds up over time.

Will do, the other stuff I used chipped alot, but I prepped this stuff fairly well and did 3 coats, so it should stand up to a bit of a beating.

Unlike the OEM Subaru paint, which if your XT is anything like mine, apparently cant' even take a bug hit without chipping...

(ok, maybe it's Buffalo rocksalt, but still, my front end looks like someone hit it with a 12ga, not 8mo of normal--not rally--driving)).

no, but I've got scratches on my hood from my cat jumping on it and sliding

Also the first day I parked at work with it, some woman parked close and when she got out of her car, her purse scraped along the door... bitch
