Strange sound coming from rear of car....

I might be going crazy, but today when I got out of the car while it was idling to get the mail, I heard sounds coming from the rear end of the car that sounded like an electrical motor running. If you turn the car off, the sound stops. If you turn the car back on you hear it. What devices are in the rear of the car that could make sounds like electric motors running???

Gosh I hope not.. but if it was...do you think it could be heard outside the car from inside the gas tank? I do have a Walbro 255 on there...

Thats pretty normal for a Walbro. They're just loud. *shrug*

My walbro can be heard overy my essentialy straight piped exhaust at idle. They're loud, especially if they have been pushed hard recently.

I had just been on it

Traffic was a problem so I just went around it..

now that I think about it... my exhaust is pretty loud and for me to hear the walbro over that is kinda scary! I am just glad to know I am not alone.

I have had it on for a year now and I just noticed it a few weeks ago, I was told it was the walbro aswell
