Default CEL after catback install??

Here's my Scooby's breathing setup:

PDE uppipe and downpipe (catless)
Removed intake silencer
Stock Turbo
Stock injectors
Blitz SBC-iD EBC set at 16psi

Now I've replaced the stock catback with a Bosal (same as SPT) 3" single tip catback. Things have been running well for probably ~400km, now this morning driving home form work I throw a CEL. EGT reading normal, Boost not higher than ~15psi. there was no fuel cut or anything, just a slight change in the exhaust note....maybe a little more flat sounding for a moment..?
Anyway, I pull over, stop the engine, check for any obvious problems and find nothing. Drive home normally, check a little closer, and go for another test drive... CEL won't clear after multiple restarts, but nothing seems to be out of the ordinary otherwise...

I'll probably have to wait 'till monday to get the code read, any ideas of what might be happening?? Could it be a cat insufficiency, or EGT code that is showing up now due to the increased exhaust flow??

Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated!!

Thanks!

Probably P0420. Time for the mechanical fix. Also if you are using stock EGT sensor, you might want to take it out and plug it with a bolt because its going to fail with that higher boost.

Thanks, that's what I'm thinking too... I know the ultimate fix will be to get the Cobb accessport, and dump the EBC ....just have to wait for my budget to permit that !!!

Got the code read today at the dealership, "High EGT" They cleared the code, and are going to "replace the sensor" under warranty apparantly they had someone else in a while ago with similar mods and it worked for them.... Still can't wait to get the Accessport, and be done modding ....for a while
