Default Just got back from the track...

I went to Milan Dragway tonight for the first xceedspeed.com Racing Under the Lights or whatever it was called.

Here are a few of my impressions:

Lots of rice, but surprisingly there were 10-12 SRT-4s.

There were lots of bad drivers. I have never seen so many missed shifts and burned clutches.

The first race in the Sport Compact Class were two blue SRT-4s. Both of them had crappy drivers. The one in the left lane smoked his clutch so the car wasn't moving. SRT-4 ended up running a 23.3 at 33mph while the other one ran a 14.9.

I saw an STi racing a WRX which surprisingly to me was a very close race.

Also, Mercury Marauders sound simply amazing.

No SRT-4 ran faster than 14.2.

I'm not saying I would be any better. I've never drag raced my car nor do I plan on it in the near future. It just struck me as odd, because I always hear SRT-4 drivers talk about how badass their car is yet not one of them ran a decent time.
