Question Help With Boost Nanny!!!!CEL P1143: Any Ideas?

I installed the Boost Nanny mod this afternoon hoping to clear my “108 - Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric 11” CEL error code. (Click here for the mod-> http://wac.addr.com/auto/obs/boostnanny/boostnanny.html ) Imagine my surprise when I ended up with a new CEL when I was done! Here is the new CEL code I got this afternoon.

“P1143 manufacture control fuel air metering”

After installing the mod, the car hesitated and finally turned over on the second attempt. Within seconds the CEL popped on and I received the above CEL. When I remove the mod, the error message goes away. I am still left with my “108 - Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric 11” CEL error code. Anyone have any ideas of what it is I did wrong when installing this mod?

Any help with this problem would be much appreciated.

Unsung Boxer - yeah a 98... Have you ever installed the Boost Nanny mod before and if so, do you have pictures so I can reference my install to yours?

I used the following parts

http://www.partsamerica.com/PartDeta...rtnumber=47327

http://www.partsamerica.com/PartDeta...rtNumber=47149

From the pictures listed on the boost nanny site, can anyone confirm which way the Motormite 47149 Check-Valve is suppost to be oriented? The top of the Motormite 47149 check valve has Vacuum stamped at the top.

Bump - Still no luck with the Boost Nanny. I have tried every way possible but no luck. I either pop a P1143 CEL or a P0106 CEL. Can someone tell me what I am doing wrong? Please PM me or post here.

Thanks!
