Default crazy saturday on the streets

Wow what a crazy day on the roads, this is what happened. I was leaving to got to the rally X up in squamish and was just leaving my apt, as I pulled onto the main street I saw one of the most gut wrenching and painful things I have ever seen. Just before getting to the corner I saw a GSXR (street bike) come down from a wheelie and try to brake for the corner, well he was going way to fast and when he tried to brake the bike went into a speed wobble and threw him clear across the street, he landed on the curb and then bounced into a fence and back onto the side walk . At this point a BIG ohhhhh SHI.... was going through my mind, well the second after I saw that, I pulled over and called 911 (I was the first person there) once help was on the way, I ran out to see how the poor guy was doing, ohhhh he was unconscious, bleeding and worst of all his helmet come off after the first impact. The good news, he's breathing and the bleeding was mostly road rash, but spinal damage was a major concern. I kept his head and body as still as possible until the medics arrived. He woke up just after the medics came and had no idea of what just happened, but he is very lucky, if he had stayed on his bike he would of hit a telephone pole and gone through the fence.
Any ways I hope you guys know what to do if some thing crazy like this happens to you, and if you ride a bike just remember, in an accident the bike uses YOU for protection

Holy cow. Good thinking on your part to pull over. I could see many others frightened and just drive on.

A little first-aid knowledge is never useless.

Well I just hope some one would the same for me, if I was in his shoes. If I had left 15 seconds earlier he would of hit me right on the drivers door ouch
