Default FIS + UTEC = all happy customers?

I've yet to hear one complaint about Jason's tuning. I've only heard he doesn't produce the highest power from cars. That's okay. How many of you guys have used Jason to tune your UTEC equipped cars? Were you satisfied with the results?

I had Jason tune my car twice with the UTEC and I was happy with the work. The guys at FIS are honest and frank when it comes to warning you about what kind of power you're making and what to expect as far as reliability goes.

Talked to Jason for about a hour when at WRC Mexico and he says his feeling on tuning is better safe and strong than crazy horsepower that will take a motor a part.

Yes, I concur with this statement. Jason, Steve and Rick have it goin on, know what they are doing. It's almost an un-written rule, you will get strong, reliable power and it WILL be safe. I know in my case, more could have been extracted, but at what cost to me?. These guys are great and care about the customer, there follow up for any reason is second to none.
I know I appreciate everything they have done and highly recommend FIS to EVERYONE!!

I'll see how ragged a VF22 can get when Jason gets the AccessTuner software.

I have nothing but good things to say about FIS.

I dunno...they got alotta hp out of my car with a safe tune (course mine's a lil freaky!)

the only problem I had (CEL flashes) was fixed in a 5 minute trip up there by steve (The boost had gone up since I was using an MBC and the weather had changed!) Turns out I was overboosting.

My car runs like a kitten dropped in a bathtub.

Jason is the only guy there that I have met. Do the other two do tuning as well? I know some of Jason's background. I met him before FIS was up and running and he was hanging around at Cobb. What of Rick and Steve?

I went up there and met brian when he came up to get his soob tuned. Nice guy .

The dude at the shop.. (currently at a loss for his name) was wise in the way of the soob.

Anyone know of any highly modified cars that have been tuned by either Jason or his father out of FIS?? I just am wondering because if I get a retune then I am going to want someone that can start from close to scratch and tune it all the way to good to go. Thanks!!

do u have the UTEC?

i know of a few that used FIS to tune their UTEC's w/ good success.

i know blugin has the same set up as u, minus 20G, but will be using unichip to tune with.

I have a UTEC. I just cant decide if I want to maybe drive all the way back up to STL so that Jorge(RiftsWRX) can tune it since he is a great tuner or if I want to go to FIS or a place like that.

Thanks,
Richard

His name is Steve and he really seems to know what he is doing. He said that the UTEC is his favorite engine management to tune with especially with the last firmware upgrade. It was good to meet you too man.

Under Heavy acceleration the car is smoother than it has ever been. I unfortunately didn't notice until I got back to Austin (freeway miles almost all the way back) that I have a surge or hesitation at around 3000 rpm. I will have to send them some log files to see what they think since I am 4 hours away now. Sometimes I amaze myself with moronitude. My AC compressor kicks on pretty hard and I thought what little I felt when leaving Dallas was the compressor.

Yeah I may post on WRX hackers too. I just wanted to send them to FIS because I know that they will help me out since I just had the car tuned. I really wish I would have noticed it in Dallas.

I came out with 224/224 whp/ft. lbs. so I now have the stock HP at the wheels (pretty much). Like others mentioned before they tune so that you can drive a fast reliable car not just fast. I will post the graph as soon as I get it scanned at work.
