Unhappy aaaaccckkk! so my car got hit another 2 times this past week...

front hood is dented (about baseball side) and front part is bent downwards...

I found this one while washing, clay barring and waxing my car for the first time - looks great!

then some lady parked her car with her license plate digging into my rear bumper. It wasn't until later that I remembered that I had a camera with film in the car and didn't manage to take any pictures until she had already moved her car away from mine - she took a whole lot of pictures (one of me too!) and said that I could deal with her brother who is an ICBC lawyer - like I give a @#$% who he is? ICBC lawyer or not I had 3 witnesses... 2 saw her car parked up against mine and 1 guy saw her drive her car into mine...

I made a claim for both - I ended up meeting the lady who hit my car and she totally denied hitting and/or damaging my car. bs!

the damage was minor and all I really wanted was an apology and maybe for her to ask how much it would cost to buff out. I couldn't even get her DL number but whatever... that was the 4th beating my car has taken in 1 year.

1. broken passenger side view mirror (no claim/not fixed yet)
2. driver side rear hit by vehicle (Hit & Run claim/not fixed yet)
3. front hood dented/bent (Hit & Run claim/not fixed yet)
4. rear bumber chipped paint (claim/not fixed yet)

what happened to bad luck comes in 3's???

later
daniel

I recall a song from the early 90s by the band The Refreshments, there was a line in it that stated "the world is full of stupid people" - mabbe there are greater densities of these people in the area you are parking? Time to find a more remote place to leave your baby while you do your shopping

Feel sorry for you. Hope the bad luck will leave you.

But similar thing happened to me before. One day I parked on Cambie near 42nd, in front of a sushi place, and I was having lunch inside, sitting at the window seat. Within half an hour I witnessed my van being hit twice!

One was a minor one, the other was a lady backing up her van into my van. After her hit my van, she didn't notice, and kept pushing. I ran out to stop her, and when I asked for her driver license, her answer was surprising,"Don't waste my time, I'm in a hurry to do volunteer job!"

You guys should have reported their license plate to the police that these people would hit your car and not give you their insurance information.

superhero: i think i'm on your boat. i mean, i was just waiting to turn left, then oncoming traffic was fast and flung a huge rock towards my car and dented the driver door bad. and i definitely can't claim that or blame the driver. then there's these hit n runs. and my lip got scratched... list goes on.

Maybe its something with subaru's? Ever have someone back up into your rear bumper twice in a week? car done up then dented in the fender then have someone destroy your front end for you?

All of it happening in a short span of 4 months!
bad stuff happens in 4's too.
