Default EVANS NPG+ Waterless Coolant

http://www.evanscooling.com/html/npgPls.htm

It seems to be something nobody knows about. There are 2 threads on NASIOC discussing this, and both users praised the coolant. Sounds so interesting I might just give it a try

What's the best way to drain all the water out of your system though?

I wouldn't agree that everyone has had only good things to say about this coolant.

They have a prep-fluid product that helps flush the water out, you have to ask for it when you order it's not listed on the website. But if you look at Jorge's teardown thread,

http://forums.nasioc.com/forums/show...ighlight=evans

The evans seems to cause corrosion

Well... FWIW.. I just used Evan's again.. way I see it, the "pitting" of the case bolts was minor in comparison to how well the stuff did it's job. So I used a fresh batch in this motor.

Back in the early 90's all the Buick GN guys used this stuff. From what I remember they all loved it. Helped keep those really fast V6 (sub 9 sec) turbo cars cool.

I even know a cuple of guys in stock appearence classes that used it. They said that it helped allow them to run more boost becasue it helped keep the temps down.

Bump from the past.

Any of you guys still using Evans NPG+?
If not why? What problems did you have?
If so, what do you like best about it?
Did it change they way you tuned the car?

Just looking for some feedback. I bought some NPG+ a couple years ago but never got around to putting it in. (I have a slow coolant leak to find first.)

thanks

Bumping the bump, thinking of running this but curious of what long term subie users have to say about it.
