Default I need a super small turbo for a project

Ok I know this is off topic, but I have been looking for a while for a turbo for this scooter I have. I have it sitting in my yard and figure why not screw with it. It is 50 cc with aluminum head and cyclinder. I was going to bore it out and put in a iron sleeve if I can find one. I'm just looking for a small turbo or even the name of one that is made pretty small. I don't care about lag/surge. I knwo it is possible cause I have seen a GO-PED with a turbo. It has a carb so fuel won't be a prob as I can rejet it easily. And I have bigger carbs around. Also this thing is pretty old from 67 I think. All replies are appreciated

KKK on the Audi S4
IHI RH from the honda turbo ski

www.pwctoday.com and go to the honda section and look for nitroshark post with 33+ pages and you will get compressor maps for the whole line of IHI RH's

The turbo off the ford prob/mazda 626 is pretty small, but you need one even smaller. There are a handful of turbo ford escorts in the states, I think about 500, I've seen 2 and they have some real small turbos. The impulse turbo might be a little too big also, but I have the perfect solution for you.

The turbo off a 3cyl turbo sprint. That would be PERFECT and probably won't be all that much money if you can find one.

Good luck and please keep us posted.

I saw a Go-Ped with a turbo but don't remember where.

Google for - Turbo Bar Stools

Mitsu 9b, IIRC. Still WAY too big - they're sized for 1.0-1.5L engines, and this is .05L...

You may want to search at model airplane sites?

yeah I looked for a motorcycLe turbo but onLy know of the Hayabusa. I know that one is way too big. I was thinking of finding one and taking the spinDLe/cartridge out and machine my own intake and exhaust housings. I have a Lathe, Huge drilL press, and soon a MiLLing machine hoepfuLLY.

yeah, I'd recommend the turbos that were used on the old EA82 subarus, like the XT turbo, loyale turbo, and GL-10 turbo. That is one real small turbo.

Also, the older saab 900s had really small turbos on them. Probably like an '88 or something..

it is the same but still made for a 1.8L,
its also used on the older jdm ej20's

heres a pic of one i put on my honda/winter beater:

heres a pic of a second one my ej20 side project motor:

i would look at the turbos that came stock on that 80's motorcycle, the seca turbo i think?

other than that there are a couple 700cc jdm cars, sub sub compacts that use turbos, but i'm not sure what the turbos are.

there is also a t-15 thats smaller than the t-20.

'80s Kawasaki 750 Turbo?
Honda CX500 Turbo?

Wasn't there a little 3-cyl Hyundai with a turbo?

The Loyal turbo is a little larger than that on the Probe. I know this, because I have the flanges for the Loyal turbo and there is no way they would work on that little IHI on the Probe/Mazda.

I still say try and find a turbo Chevy Sprint turbo... they are like keychains. The motor on those is only like 600cc.
