I've been looking for a nose bra for the STi just to protect the bumper from rock chips on long drives. Id remove it once I arrived at my destination. The only one ive been able to find is a nose bra for a 2004 WRX. Do you think that would fit the STi front end? Given the front is structurally the same except for the side fins. Ive thought about 3M film and its just too expensive and it yellows in time. I dont really like the idea of having tape on my bumper 24/7. Its just easier and more cost effective for me to use a nose bra on trips.

It won't fit... I tried. If you remove the side splitters, it should.

I'm not a big fan of car bras. When you get dust under the bra it acts like sandpaper.

Talk to Chad at Rockblocker, he's a good guy and I'm sure if your clearbra ever yellows he'd replace it. I haven't seen one yet that's yellowed though.

Did you try carbras.com? They sell one, made by Perfect Fit, that I purchased for my 04 WRX. Works great and fits like a glove. It's my understanding that they make the factory Subaru units. No high wind tabs that disturb the intercooler either. The price and quality is great also. You may want to give them a yell.
