Question OT - need wheel for PC

I am currently looking for a wheel for my PC as I am totally addicted to playing grand prix legends. I have done quite a bit of research on the matter and have narrowed my choice down to two wheels. The logitech momo wheel (the original red), and the logitech formula force (known as old red, not the formula force gp). Does anyone know of any places in the GVRD that sells these older wheels that have been dicontinued? I've looked everywhere including ebay, and I have had very little success. It seems the newer wheels out today are not as good quality.

What's wrong with the current Logitech Momo wheel? I was gifted one for XMas and other than the fact that I'm more accustomed to using the KB (try a drifting competition with a wheel vs. KB!), it seems like a solid setup?

The good wheels use bearings, not pulleys.

I think Future Shop should still have one or 2 around. I doubt Costco will still have it but won't hurt to try. Most of the shop sell the new Momo leather one now. I have the old Red but I lend it to a friend about 1 year ago.

My wheel has red accents, and red buttons, but the MOMO lettering is yellow.. and the box is primarily red?

Any way to be sure which is which?

The old Red one should be discountined by now and it doesn't have any MOMO letters anywhere. The one you have may be the first MOMO verison that Logitech made. I think there should be at least 2 verison running around.

The newer wheels are rubber vs. the old which is a leather wheel

Most realistic wheel will be the one for GT4... haha... I've actually tried it out... it's a TWO turn steering wheel just like our cars... at 1st it was hard to get used to but once you get the hang of it you can spin out pretty easily...

Yeah I never use the shifter on my wheel for shifting, I always bind the paddles to shifting.. Using the shifter for ebrake sounds like a good trick too.. Hmm..
