Default Brightstar HID Kits: $370 shipped

Hi guys,

Just wanted to let everyone know that we still have HID kits for sale that will fit the Subarus. We've installed them on several local Imprezas already and everyone seems to be very happy with them. You can see some of the feedback that they posted on our original thread here. Feel free to ask me any questions that you may have

The price is $370 shipped for 5000k Kits(H4 hi/lo add $40)and they're all in stock. You can call in to place an order, or you can paypal us at: paypal@importhookup.com

Just be sure to specify which bulb base you need:
H1's for 04 WRX/STI
9007 for 02-03 WRX
H7's for Morettes
H1's for JDM/EDM lights
GC8 and Foresters use H4/H4 hi/lo
9006 goes in prior year forester fog lights

Our online store also has troubleshooting tips, FAQ's, reviews, install pictures, and an application guide.

Thanks!

John

Hi WRX Jim,

They're 5000k Kits (recommended) however we do have other color temperatures available. We like to recommend the 5000k's for two reasons: 1) They have the most usable light output and is the industry standard, and 2) They emit a nice bright white color, no blue or purple stuff, which keeps you away as a target for the local police.

Gotta do some convincing......... "puuhhhhleeeeaaaaase huny"

According to your other thread......all you have to do is aim the lights down a bit so oncoming traffic isn't blinded

I have a question about your HID kit in general, i live in canada where we have a daytime running light module that runs the lights at 7V during the day unless a switch is flipped to turn the lights up to 12V. If my lights are running at only 7V through through the module then will there be enough power for the initial light up? What about enough power to keep the bulbs running? have you sold any HID kits to canada and if so what did they do to solve this problem?

Hi scooby,

We have the DRL modules down here as well. Basically what we've done here is pull the fuses - do a search on the HID installs here on the forum. Even if you did not pull the fuse, our ballasts have an auto shutdown feature which kicks on if voltage drops below 11v or rises above 15v.

And yes, we've sold numerous kits to Canada, none of which has experienced any problems with this issue.

Thanks!
