Whoa!! I'll order one of those carbon knobs in a second if you get it with the shift gate pattern on it instead of STI!

We do,
in fact the owner of the company is in my showroom talking to Mike right now
We're working on some new designs with him for possible universal shift knobs and version 8 STi Carbon Fiber Wings

There's no reason why that knob shouldn't work with the STi 6spd. The reverse lockout ring is seperate from the actual shift knob. Meaning you can unscrew the shift knob and the reverse lockout ring stays on.

It actually attaches to the stock piece with provided hardware and instructions.

It's a cover basically.
