Default Race your car legally

Safe Motorsports ( www.safemotorsports.com ) sponsors events at Sebring, Moroso, and Homestead Raceway. You are allowed to drive your own car, by yourself (or you can have someone ride allong with you the first time). Lots of actual track time makes this worth the money.

Next event is this weekend (I know, short notice)

Go to the website. Next few are

May 23 Sebring
June 13 Homestead
July 24 Sebring
August 28 Sebring
September 25 Homestead
December 5 Sebring

Membership is required ($50) and the track fees are usually around $225.

Well worth it.

(told you i would post it, Solar......)

Anyway to get on the track w/out an SCCA license or driving school certificate??

I'd love to do this but only have autocross experience.

How much is it to race at road atlanta? When do they have track days? Do a lot of people go there to race? Can a noob go and have some fun? Any special licenses, or anything besides my driver's license required?

There is all the info for Road Atlanta track days. Some of the local car clubs organize other days as well

Panoz is yet another good raceschool....

I did a Panoz day at Sebring too...kept waiting for them to come back, but they didnt. AFAIK, SAFE is one of the only ones that is still giong there...its more of a club, than a school....but there are people there that are lisenced, and will help if you ask...IIRC, Panoz was a little more $$$$....
