Default Do JDM seatbelts work with USDM cars?

I'm looking into getting JDM seats. But, I've heard that the seatbelts buckles from JDM seats do not work with the USDM ones. Can anyone confirm this?

I will not have my stock seats, so I can not swap the seatbelt buckles.

mine worked fine.. but the jdm seats dont have hte air bag warning connector.. you can take the old harness & buckle off the usdm seat and bolt it on, or get the resistor like i did.. i hear some stories about the jdm not *clicking* securely but mine is just as good as the usdm ones.. these are JDM wrx seats not sti.. maybe sti uses different seat belts?

The ones I'm gonna be getting are JDM WRX seats, not STi ones. Not worried about the side airbags. I'll just use the resistors.

Julian, if they end not working, I'll send you a PM.

Thanks guys!!
