They are JDM. Direct bolt on. The only issue that I found was they don't come with the STi hoses. I was able to install one yesterday on a WRX (02) that had Samco hoses, but that required some extending of the Samco's...

Side note... The JDM STi Intercoolers are brand new, never been used. They just didn't come with the Y pipes.

Here is a good side by side pic w/ the WRX IC (used).

And another pic of it installed

Price on the IC's (without hoses) is $400 shipped anywhere in the continental US.

Price on the Intake Manifold w/ injectors (etc) is $400 + shipping.

I have 4 of the IC's left (of the 5 that I got). I have been searching high and low, but can not source the hoses.

My personal recommendation is to re-use the WRX cast pieces (are held on with 2 12mm bolts) and aftermarket (like Perrin or Samco) hoses.

The fix to extend them requires cutting the IC hoses and extending it using a piece of metal (either steel or aluminum) that is 3.5" long with a diameter of 2" and some hose clamps. This is what I did on my wifes wagon.

I'll post some pics soon as the car is cool enough to work on...

I was interested in an intercooler, but am getting an FP 20g or Green and will need a front mount. Now for this Intake Manifold, it's the red one right and are the injectors STi Pinks????

Thank You, Guru

It comes with the STi yellows, as it's off a USDM STi (not a JDM which would have the pinks).

Is this intake a DIRECT bolt on for an 02 WRX ej20? And I searched high and low for the flow rates of the STi yellows. Would you happen to know them?

Thanx, Guru

IIRC, the STi Yellows are 545 or so. Ever so slightly less then the STi Pinks.

As for direct bolt on, yes it will. You will need to have some sort of engine management to control the injectors though. Same thing as if you installed a set of STi pinks. You'd need something to control the injectors.

Other then controlling the injectors, it's a direct replacement for the stock EJ20

USPS Priority Mail (2 - 3 days) will run $25 USD. We can go Parcel post (7 - 9 days) for 20.

Fedex ground would run about $15 and take between 4 - 5 days.

Other than pretty red paint, what is the difference between the STI Intake Manifold and a stock WRX manifold?

The injectors are STi yellows (vs. stock WRX), the intake manifold on the STi is ported more (IIRC) and the STi throttlebody is drive by wire (which can be swapped for the WRX throttlebody).

From what version STi are the IC's from? They have a dip in the top of the intercooler that I have not seen on other STi ICs.
