Default Thoughts on Carbon fiber 04 sti scoop for 02\03 WRX and forester XT...

Would anyone be interested in this? I have the ability to make these, and if demand is there we will go into production with them. Pricing would be ~$300 for full the scoop in full high gloss finish carbon fiber.

Thank you for your input.

Regards,
Ashley

Just seeing if there is intrest locally. Nothing for sale yet. If\when it is, it will be moved into the SCIC vendor forum. Thank you!

I'd actually like to see really useful carbon fiber parts... L Braces (under teh front fender), lateral links etc, hell even rear diffusers.

I'd love to make carbon parts such as these. Let me know what you want to see and I can investigate the price to develop them.

Not to knock your idea, but Daddy's already sells a HUGE CF scoop for $229 shipped.

I saw a car a couple of days a go that had these cool CF "fins" attached to the front fenders near the cooling ducts.

I'd love some kind of CF dress up around the 'ol bugeye headlights...

To be fair our 4" scoop is not an 04 STi sytle. It's different no doubt, but I think an 04 STi style on an 02/03 would look great.

Dynamispeed - PM me, I would definatley be interested, maybe share the production costs to help make it happen.

Well, we had this thread not too long ago, no one spoke of CF but the STi hood scoop on an 02/03 in general didn't sound that popular...

I saw a proto '04 style on an '03 and it looked pretty good...better than the '02-'03 STi type IMO. But besides the opinions on appearance, I want a bigger (yet stylish) scoop to increase the airflow to the intercooler...this would definitely do it!

I say do what every YOU like & think looks good, & don't worry about everybody else! If it's your car, ya gotta do what makes YOU happy. Sometimes it's better to be a leader than a follower.

Sorry for the pep talk.

I definitely think there is a market for it. I get customers all the time that ask for it.

the scoop might look ok, i'd have to see on in person. as for the rear diffuser that would be interesting. the one thing I have been hoping for was a front lip like the one LNR makes for the wagon except for the sedan. (.....and somehow still fits around my lightbar )

Just a side note...someone has fitted the 02/03 WRX LNR CF hood scoop on a Forester XT. I'll look for the pic and post it up.
