Smile 05s at Heitage in Baltimore...

So I was at Heritage this morning getting my 1st oil change. Kinda sweet, they ended up knocking nearly half off the price due to a printing snafu at the cahsiers desk. They just kept it that way to make me happy. Now thats service.

But not what I was comming here to talk about.
So while my car was in, I decided to go walking about the lot, and see what was new. First thing that popped into my head was "hey, wow, I guess Heritage is selling Saabs now too." This made sence to me, as Saab and Subie are trading technology.

What I thought were Saabs were the new 2005 Legacy Outbacks. They look A LOT like the new Saabs, and only kinda like the Scoobie Outback. It looks like they have also gotten a bit smaller on the inside. They look good, just different. All of the ones that I saw were automatics, and they all had the auto sport shift tranny.

Also saw an '05 Java Black STi. I think it was the only STi on thier lot. Only one that I saw anyhow, I know that they have an off-campus lot about 2 miles away. It was definatly sexy.

Heritage must be doing well on the VW side, as they had many R32 GTis' there. Infact, while I did not see any Vr6 Gti, I saw as many R32s as I saw 1.8t GTi. I wonder if the standard FWD Vr6 has fallen from favor. I'm a total sucker for the Gti.

There are no '05 Java Black's. The '05 black is called Obsidian Black. I believe it has blue flecks in the paint.

D'oh. Of course, you are right.

I also did not see any XT outbacks. But I have to say I really was not looking for them. I did not see any outbacks with scoops - but that does ntomean to say that there were not any there.
