Default Canadian Pricing on Legacy Turbo's

Some have arrived locally, called up for pricing

GT

Sedan $36,495 Limited $40,295
Wagon$37,495 Limited $41,795

That's amazing pricing , basically same as a WRX. Now its a matter of deciding on sedan or wagon for me. The LTD is a bit of a rip-off, $4k for leather + sunroof. I doubt it will sell well, hopefully they'll offer leather as an option to the GT next year.

Anyone know if they've changed to a better paint? Until they do, no new Subes in my future.

I saw an article in the London Free Press Yesterday that said the "turbo" Legacy would be called the 2.5XT and the price would be around $43k. No mention if it was base model or other.

I hope your pricing is correct and not the one I read.

Fingers crossed, because if the $43k is the correct price, I will NOT be buying a Legacy for my next car.

WHAT! Hummmm, a Forester XT perhaps? You aren't thinking of getting a diesel Jetta?

Forester XT would be a possibility, but I'm more a sedan "guy". If the Legacy GT ends up in the $43k range for the base model, a G35 may be in my future.

Yah, once you get into that mid 40K price range I bunch of great luxury sport sedans become possiblities. The Acura TL and G35 would be at the top of my list.

Again guys the car is 36.5 / 37.5 sedan/wagon which is well under $40k. If you must have leather its gonna cost you $4k but for the base price of the car there is NOTHING in North America that can match what it offers.
