I cut mine off cause I got sick of the thing, but it was only a hairline fracture. However, because its a leg, and depending on how severe the break is/was, they sometimes then put you into a soft cast depending on how things healed....

if it was a wrist or hairline fracture I would say yes...cause well that's what I did, but since its your leg, and especially if you had pins put in or what not....

I would wait the two weeks...

Isn't there a saying in the Medical profession of: "He who is his own patient, has an idiot for a doctor."

when you do take it off, your leg will be skinny, hairy and white as a ghost.

if you think the cast is gross...just wait till you see your leg

Good luck trying to walk on it too. You'll probably have forgotten how to use it and will need to relearn.

When I had a cast removed from my ankle and tried to take my first step, I literally fell on my face because my leg was too weak and I forgot how to use it properly.

My friend cut off his own cast with a dremel a few weeks early. His wrist never fully healed...

As much as it sucks, wait it out...

i think alot of people are confused about what i mean, i should of been more specific, 4 weeks was on thursday, but i cannot seem him until june 3 which is 2 weeks from now. i guess there is a chance it could still be unhealed, but i really need to get some money after not working for awhile.

I would be willing to bet a normal hotsaw would cut faster than that beast.

no ear protection either.

Can you say redneck (the guys in that pic)???
I would wait it out. You might damage it further because it didn't heal properly, or cut yourself.
